presentation on Zeolites by Mark Dameron followed by a video
lecture by Professor John J. Renton from his course “The
Nature of Earth: An Introduction to Geology” produced by The
Great Courses. Theme for Show & Tell will be Crystals.
March 11 – Presentation
by Warren Arends on Cabbing.
April 8 – Video lecture
from “The Nature of Earth: An Introduction to Geology”
series. Theme for Show and Tell will be Petrified Wood.
May 13 – presentation by
Roger Clark on Fairburn Agates (not yet confirmed).
June 3 (note date change)
– Annual elections and presentation by Dan Lane on Gold
Panning.
July – No meeting.
August – No meeting.
(Club picnic).
September 9 –
Presentation by Mark Dameron. Topic to be determined).
October 14 – Presentation
by geologist Charley Trautwein (not yet confirmed).
